Schmargendorf is a nice borough of Berlin, located in the South-West of Charlottenburg. Residential area as its neighbour Grunewald, the most significant building is the Town Hall or Rathaus (1900-1902) in Neo-Gothik (Backstein Gothik) style.
The architect is Otto Kervien, the Rathaus was build during the reign of Wilhelm II between 1900 and 1902.
The little Dorfkirche comes from the 14th century.
The chruch built has been build in 1929 in the "expressionism" style.
